Fabulous article, great tips and thank you for pointing me at it.
Great article! I myself want to start producing techno, but I become totally carried away by the fact what pros are doing, and the people who have been doing it for at least a couple of years and have some background in music (musical theory). Reading your article brings me back to what steps should be taken: not concentrate on what others have/are doing and thinking “oh my god, that’s so cool I wish i could think of something like that/create smth like that” but rather just take a few small steps, limit the effects, like you advised and finish what has been started. Thanks for the article!
first of all thanks for reading my blog and getting in touch, I’m glad I could be of help!
If you’re not fluent with musical theory, techno really is the right genre for you 🙂
Good look and share some of your music if you feel to!
You totally encouraged me! Really nice and useful article for beginners. Full of happiness and gratitude to you. That advice about using minimum effects helped me a lot. I’ve started to improve what I have! You noticed in your article some points, that appeared on my way like questions and I fully understood your vision. I will focus more on producing and making deep sounds, thx for your coaching;)
thanks so much for your nice words, I’m really glad I could help you out.
If you ever encounter any questions, please let me know 🙂
